Qualifications

• New York State Public Librarian certificate obtainable at time of employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and assigns work to a team of catalogers loading vendor records.
• Implements quality assurance to maintain metadata integrity per MARC21, RDA, DDC, LCSH.
• Collaborates with department management to design, manage, and assess cataloging processes.
• Collects departmental cataloging statistics and produces reports on activity.
• Documents and keeps up-to-date database maintenance workflows.
• Manages work assignment and resolution of issues on ServiceNow.
• Attends meetings and interacts with vendors; provides coverage as needed.
