Job summary

Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies, LLC, operating KCNSC in Albuquerque, NM, seeks an experienced engineer to provide advanced manufacturing support. You will develop production routings, update MES instructions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturability and costs.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in engineering, manufacturing, or related admin roles, strong problem solving, and the ability to obtain DOE clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or 7+ years in related fields such as business operations, manufacturing or engineering administration.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and per business needs.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DOE security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Work independently on complex engineering support tasks aligned with business strategies.
• Identify improvement opportunities; develop revised processes and maintain MES factory instructions.
• Create new production routings and ensure adherence to standards; coordinate reviews before release.
• Troubleshoot work instructions and resolve related issues.
• Interpret design definitions and suggest manufacturability and cost improvements; coordinate with engineering and operations.
• Assess capital equipment utilization and report on improvements.
• Prepare documentation for cost management, CPEs, risk assessments and tracking against cost and schedule.
• Support quality documentation for product acceptance.
• Mentor engineering support staff.
