Job summary

Maxonic Inc. is seeking a Senior MES Integration Engineer to lead the development and integration of manufacturing enterprise and shop floor applications onsite in San Jose, CA.

The role emphasizes Rockwell FTPC, EIG, and various MES interfaces with Level 4/Level 1,2 systems. You will work with IT, Quality, Regulatory, and Operations to ensure robust, scalable MES solutions, while mentoring teammates and driving process improvements in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of MES software development & implementation experience.
• Strong Java and OO Design/Development skills; & MES integrations using message brokers (AMQ, Kafka).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop MES apps and reporting solutions using Rockwell FTPC and related tech.
• Support MES integrations with Level 4 and Level 1,2 systems including labeling and quality systems.
• Identify opportunities for system and process improvements and share ideas with the team.
• Troubleshoot complex multi-tiered and highly integrated systems; perform root-cause analysis.
• Document solution design and analysis work in a central repository.
• Maintain mastery of the technical specialization and share best practices.
• Collaborate with end-users, SMEs, and cross-functional team members on solutions.
• Coach other team members and share experience on manufacturing software development.
• Celebrate successes of the team and individuals.
