Job summary

Barry-Wehmiller Design Group in the United States is seeking an MES Engineer to join a dynamic system integration and consulting team. You will develop Ignition and Sepasoft MES solutions, implement industrial software, and contribute to capital projects from design through onsite startup.

You will work with Fortune 100 clients across multiple industries, collaborate with engineers and clients, and mentor junior staff while traveling as required to project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or CS/Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in system integration and SCADA/industrial software development.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop Ignition and Sepasoft applications, including databases, data handling and reporting, scripting (Python), and REST API development; focus on OEE applications.
• Collaborate individually or in teams on capital projects and client engagements.
• Support project definition, design, development, debugging, and onsite startup of systems.
• Understand project requirements to develop manufacturing-space applications.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to define scopes, deliverables, and timelines.
• Mentor and train junior engineers and work with clients and vendors.
