Job summary

Barry‑Wehmiller is hiring a Manufacturing Intelligence Engineer to design and implement SCADA and industrial control solutions for packaging projects. You will work within the Perpetua Group, collaborating on capital projects and leading software and integration efforts to boost performance.

The role requires 5+ years in system integration with SCADA/MES, a BS in Engineering, and strong Rockwell/Siemens/ .NET skills.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in system integration, SCADA and/or MES application development.
A Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical or Computer preferred).
Strong knowledge of Rockwell FactoryTalk Optix & View; Ignition/Wonderware a plus.
Experience with Rockwell Allen‑Bradley PLCs, Siemens PLCs, PanelView HMIs, and .NET.

Responsibilities

Design SCADA systems, databases, interfaces, data handling and reporting, and scripting.
Implement software control algorithms and configure data transmission software.
Develop, implement and maintain debugging and support software for reliability.
Configure and commission industrial control packages for manufacturing environments.
Provide technical project execution, deliverables, schedules, and customer satisfaction.
Interface with clients to define scope and manage complex projects.
Plan timelines and collaborate with Project Management for execution.
Provide programming and onsite startup support for packaging line systems.
Lead and coordinate multiple scopes across phases and mentor team members.
