Job summary

HCLTech seeks a Senior Technical Lead – MES with deep expertise in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), specifically Siemens Opcenter, to lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise manufacturing solutions. This role will provide technical leadership, mentor development teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive delivery excellence across MES initiatives.

Based in the United States, the position is remote with occasional travel to Fremont, CA.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with MES
• Hands-on Siemens Opcenter 2604 or 2410
• Experience in Opcenter Designer Portal
• Strong understanding of MES architecture, workflows, and integrations
• Experience mentoring development teams
• Knowledge of SDLC, testing and deployment practices
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and deployment of MES solutions using Siemens Opcenter
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to MES developers and engineers
• Drive best practices for coding standards, architecture, and performance
• Conduct code reviews and establish QA processes
• Support CI/CD with Jenkins and GitLab
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical solutions
• Evaluate alternatives, identify risks, and suggest mitigations
• Participate in architecture reviews and feasibility assessments
• Monitor delivery, status reporting, and issue escalation
• Support continuous improvement across manufacturing operations
