Job summary

Lilly in Indianapolis is seeking a MES Senior Principal Engineer to lead the Manufacturing Execution System architecture across API MES sites. You will define standards, guide delivery, and partner with global teams to ensure scalable, secure, and high‑reliability MES solutions.

You will mentor teams, shape roadmaps, and collaborate with Cybersecurity, Data Management and Business partners to align MES with enterprise goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in MES.
• Strong knowledge with distributed S95 Level 3 solutions, configurable software (COTS) and BI.
• Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on MES initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define MES architecture standards and roadmaps.
• Lead implementation and optimization across API MES sites.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, data management and business partners.
• Mentor global MES teams and drive value from MES initiatives.
