Job summary

Motrex LLC is seeking a Business Analyst, Engineering Systems to partner with Engineering, Manufacturing and CIP teams in Alpharetta. You will translate business needs into technical solutions for CAD, SCADA, MES, and industrial automation, and lead IT-driven projects that improve product development and manufacturing processes.

You will gather requirements, document processes, analyze data, and manage system changes while coordinating training and vendor relations. This role reports to the Sr.

Qualifications

• The Business Analyst, Engineering Systems partners with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and CIP to support IT operations and project leadership.
• Responsibilities include eliciting requirements, documenting processes, and translating business needs into technical solutions for CAD, SCADA, MES and automation platforms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the IT liaison for Engineering-related systems and initiatives.
• Elicit, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for system enhancements.
• Understand and document business processes.
• Analyze data and operational metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Develop and maintain application roadmaps to guide engineering technology strategies.
• Lead and manage Engineering-focused technology projects.
• Troubleshoot everyday system issues and coordinate resolutions with internal teams and vendors.
• Create and maintain system, process, and technical documentation.
• Manage testing efforts for system changes and coordinate user training.
• Communicate with Engineering leaders, business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors.
• Manage vendor relationships, including license management and escalation as needed.
