Job summary

Innovecture seeks a hands-on software engineer skilled in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js and Node.js to drive modernization of enterprise applications.

Ideal candidates will understand SOA, design REST APIs and microservices, and work with API gateways like Apigee, while navigating legacy .NET systems and ensuring secure, observable, resilient solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
• Experience with enterprise application development and modernization.
• Understanding of SOA and enterprise architecture.
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with security, authentication/authorization, logging, error handling, monitoring, and resiliency.
• Apigee or other API Gateway/API Management experience is beneficial.
• Experience with legacy modernization or migration preferred.
• Comfort with .NET-based legacy applications, including code and business logic understanding.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools for code analysis, migration, development, testing, documentation, and productivity.

Key Candidate Requirements

• Comfort working with primarily .NET-based legacy applications, including understanding existing code, business logic, and architecture.
