Superior Group of Companies in Coppell, TX is seeking a Senior Merchant to drive product strategy and assortment planning across its brand portfolio. The role collaborates with merchandising leadership, design, sourcing, and cross-functional teams to deliver compelling, market-aligned products.

The Senior Merchant will lead end-to-end GTM processes, analyze market trends, optimize pricing, and ensure on-time, profitable product launches with a consumer-centric approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Merchandising or related field.
• 3–5 years in merchandising, buying, product management, or product creation (5 years preferred).
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop merchandising strategies with leadership to support growth and profitability goals within the uniform and scrubs market.
• Create seasonal line plans to guide design, product development, and production.
• Collaborate with S&OP and Finance to develop seasonal financial plans.
• Drive cross-functional alignment with Design and Sourcing to meet cost and gross margin targets and ensure on-time delivery.
• Identify opportunities for new product development and enhance existing lines for differentiated offerings.
• Own end-to-end go-to-market process and manage GTM milestones.
• Use market data to inform pricing strategies, promotions, and assortment optimization.
• Create pricing strategies aligned with brand positioning.
• Track business performance by channel and articulate learnings to management.
• Maintain deep knowledge of the consumer base through field relationships and store visits.
• Stay aware of competitive environment and participate in product reviews.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Operations to ensure successful launches and promotions.
• Lead Centric PLM integration into product creation.
