Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.
• 3+ years of full-time work experience in a retail and/or corporate environment.
• 3+ years’ experience using design methodologies, including user research, problem definition, prototype development and iteration, etc.
• 3+ years’ experience building and delivering leadership-facing presentations and materials.
• 3+ years’ experience analyzing and synthesizing data.
• 3+ years’ experience successfully building reports and dashboards to communicate data trends and forecasts.
• 3+ years’ experience analyzing market trends.
• Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration.
• Strong time management and multi-deliverable accountability.
• Strong communication in formal and informal settings.
• Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated growth mindset and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Develops pricing strategies and promotional plans for assigned categories.
• Analyzes and optimizes the performance of assets, develops plans to maximize value, and provides recommendations for improvements.
• Conducts in-depth analysis of performance, risks, and potential returns of assets within the category.
• Monitors and analyzes sales performance and KPIs; generates reports to evaluate strategies.
• Forecasts demand and stock levels and minimizes stockouts or excess inventory.
• Examines supplier performance, conducts negotiations, and resolves procurement issues.
• Guides and trains junior staff on industry practices and responsibilities.
• Participates in cross-functional meetings; presents findings and drives initiatives.
• Collaborates on merchandising strategies for growth; supports college-focused initiatives.
• Stays informed on industry trends and conferences.
