Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Analyst to support the Front Store Merchandising organization across 7,000+ stores. You will analyze sales trends, develop pricing strategies, and provide data-driven recommendations to optimize category performance.

You will build dashboards and reports for leadership, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help drive strategic initiatives while balancing P&L impact. Travel up to 15% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or specialized training.
• 3+ years of full-time work experience in a retail and/or corporate environment.
• 3+ years’ experience using design methodologies including user research, problem definition, prototype development and iteration.
• 3+ years’ experience building and delivering leadership-facing presentations and materials.
• 3+ years’ experience analyzing and synthesizing data.
• 3+ years’ experience building reports and dashboards to communicate data trends and forecasts.
• 5+ years’ experience in a retail/corporate environment is preferred for advanced roles.

Responsibilities

• Develops pricing strategies and promotional plans for assigned categories.
• Analyzes and optimizes asset performance and provides recommendations for improvements.
• Conducts in-depth analysis of performance, risks, and potential returns within the category.
• Monitors KPIs and generates reports to evaluate category strategies.
• Forecasts demand and stock levels to minimize stockouts or excess inventory.
• Coordinates with suppliers and resolves procurement issues.
• Trains junior staff on industry best practices.
• Participates in cross-functional meetings to drive growth initiatives.
• Supports development of merchandising strategies for growth initiatives and consumer segments.
