Job summary

J.Crew Group is seeking a Senior Planner in New York to drive the financial success of the planning department. You will oversee preseason and in-season plans, influence buying decisions and assortment strategies, and manage a direct report.

You will partner with Merchandising and Allocation to optimize product flow, drive Open-to-Buy, and deliver insights that support profitable growth. This role follows an in-office model at our New York office on Tue–Thu starting Sept 8, 2026.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years in merchandise planning, allocation, or financial analysis.
• Strong cross-functional partnering and influencing skills.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead preseason and in-season planning for sales, margin, and inventory.
• Develop and communicate recommendations to drive profitable growth.
• Partner with Merchandising, Allocation, and Planning Manager.
• Manage a direct report and develop analytical skills.
• Produce and enhance planning reports and templates.
