Job summary

Clark Group in McLean, VA seeks a Senior Systems/MEP Manager to drive construction from design through closeout, overseeing Low Voltage, Security, Fire Protection, and Controls. You will lead on-site coordination, manage submittals, testing, commissioning, and safety programs.

The role requires an engineering degree or 8+ years in construction with MEP leadership, proven ability to direct teams on large projects, and a commitment to quality, ethics, and diversity.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree (or 8+ years’ experience) in mechanical, electrical, or fire protection/life safety engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 8+ years’ experience in construction and managing MEP trades, with GC experience preferred.
• Experience leading teams in MEP design review, drawing supervision, submittal review, field inspections, and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Analyze contract documents for constructability, code compliance and functionality.
• Lead MEP trade 3D coordination meetings and submittal approvals.
• Guide and monitor MEP coordination and on-site installation.
• Manage MEP submittals, tracking, and procurement documentation.
• Develop and monitor the MEP schedule with field supervision.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and close-out deliverables.
• Review requisitions/changes and advise on contracts.
• Foster staff development and a safe, inclusive team culture.
