Job summary

Clear Engineering Recruitment is seeking an MEP Superintendent to oversee on-site MEP construction activities in Texas. You will ensure safety, quality, and schedule alignment while coordinating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing trades.

The role requires 5–8 years as a superintendent, strong leadership, and the ability to read drawings and specs. Data center experience is highly desirable and the position is project-based on-site in Texas.

Qualifications

• Experience as an MEP Superintendent or equivalent is required.
• 5-8 years in a superintendent role.
• Data center/mission-critical experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical construction.
• Experience managing subcontractors and MEP trades.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specs.
• Strong coordination and sequencing skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate MEP construction activities on site.
• Supervise subcontractors, vendors and field teams.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical and plumbing installations.
• Monitor progress against project schedules.
• Review drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and site teams.
• Ensure installations meet quality, safety and project requirements.
• Identify and resolve site issues and construction conflicts.
• Participate in inspections, testing and commissioning activities.
• Maintain strong communication across the project team.
