Job summary

Mortenson Construction is seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent I/II in Texas to review and resolve field coordination issues with project teams. You will supervise MEP scopes, coordinate designs, and help manage schedules and site logistics to ensure project success.

The role emphasizes strong communication, integrity, and dedication. Candidates should have 8+ years in construction with supervisory experience and be prepared to work on data center projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in construction, Civil or Architectural, Mechanical/Electrical fields or 10 years of trade experience.
• At least 8 years of construction experience with supervisory duties.
• Ability to coordinate complex data center projects and read construction docs.
• Strong communication and professional client-facing skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide coordination, planning, and supervision for MEP scopes of work.
• Develop and enhance customer relationships by providing excellent service.
• Plan and ensure materials, equipment, and inspections support the project schedule.
• Review construction documents for completeness and constructability.
• Coordinate plans with design engineers and resolve discrepancies.
• Contribute to development of three- and six-week look-ahead schedules.
• Develop a site logistics plan and manage Mortenson tools/equipment.
• Collaborate with partner superintendents on project execution.
