Job summary

EverOn, a leading data-center builder, seeks an experienced MEP Superintendent to oversee daily field execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems from installation through commissioning and turnover on mission-critical projects in Texas.

The role requires 7–10 years in MEP construction with supervision, data center experience, and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to drive quality and on-time turnover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 7–10 years of experience in MEP construction with field supervision responsibilities.
• Experience in data centers, mission-critical, or large-scale commercial projects preferred.
• Experience coordinating with QAQC and commissioning teams through system turnover.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field execution of MEP systems across assigned areas or scopes.
• Coordinate subcontractors and trades to ensure alignment with project schedule and sequencing.
• Ensure installations meet approved drawings, specifications, and OEM requirements.
• Monitor field progress, identify constraints, and elevate issues impacting schedule or quality.
• Lead daily huddles and participate in coordination and planning meetings.
• Enforce safety standards and promote a strong safety culture on site.
• Work closely with QAQC and commissioning teams to ensure system readiness.
• Verify completion of inspections, checklists, and prerequisites prior to testing.
• Drive a zero-defect mindset by holding trades accountable for quality and completeness.
• Track and support resolution of NCRs within assigned scope.
• Support execution of functional and integrated systems testing.
• Maintain clear communication with General Superintendent, PMs, and field teams.
• Ensure assigned systems and areas are fully complete and ready for turnover.
