Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent to review, analyze, and resolve field coordination issues with project teams. You will coordinate MEP scopes, review drawings for constructability, and align plans with design engineers to keep the project on schedule.

The role requires strong communication, detail orientation, and a track record of supervising construction activity on complex data center projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years construction experience with 2 years supervision
• Detail orientation for multi-tasking
• Knowledge of construction law and business practices
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
• Strong customer service and professional attitude
• Active listening and effective communication

Responsibilities

• Provide coordination, planning, and supervision for MEP scopes of work
• Develop and enhance customer relationships by providing excellent service
• Plan and ensure materials, equipment, and inspections support the project schedule
• Review construction documents for completeness and constructability
• Coordinate plans with design engineers and resolve discrepancies
• Develop and manage project schedules including three and six-week look-ahead
• Develop a site logistics plan
• Manage Mortenson tools and equipment
• Collaborate with project partner superintendents

Education

Bachelor's or Associate degree in construction/civil/architecture; ME/EE or 10 years trade experience
