Jobot is seeking an experienced MEP coordinator to supervise coordination and scheduling of MEP trades on construction projects in the Philadelphia area. The role emphasizes managing schedules, ensuring code-compliant installations, and leading a team of MEP staff.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in MEP coordination, a deep knowledge of MEP systems, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in MEP coordination, scheduling, and oversight.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or construction management preferred.
• Deep knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals.
• Understanding of safety protocols and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise MEP trades on construction projects.
• Develop and maintain MEP schedules and ensure they are on track.
• Ensure all MEP installations meet the required codes and standards.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project success.
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of all MEP systems.
• Develop and implement quality control measures for MEP systems.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed on site.
• Manage and mentor junior MEP staff.
