Job summary

U.S. Engineering seeks a Commissioning Program Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute all mechanical commissioning activities ensuring systems meet project requirements and owner expectations.

The role leads end-to-end commissioning for HVAC, piping, and related systems, coordinating with project teams and clients to align with milestones and specifications. A strong focus on safety, quality, and documentation supports successful handovers and project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7–10+ years of experience in mechanical systems, construction, or commissioning
• 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role preferred
• Experience with large-scale commercial, industrial, or mission-critical projects strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end mechanical commissioning process from design review through project turnover.
• Develop and implement commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures for HVAC, piping, plumbing, and related systems.
• Oversee pre-functional and functional performance testing to verify system operation and compliance.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to align commissioning activities with project milestones.
• Lead and mentor commissioning engineers, technicians, and field personnel.
• Champion safety policies and ensure procedures are executed safely.
