Job summary

FABR GLOBAL is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager for Mission Critical/Data Center sites in the Dallas–Fort Worth region. Lead installation of critical MEP systems, coordinate BIM/VDC, manage fast-track schedules, and oversee budgets, subcontracts, and IST turnover with Owner’s Rep and utility providers.

The role requires 7–10 years in MEP construction, a related bachelor’s degree, and deep knowledge of high-density power and cooling topologies.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in MEP construction management, with 3–5 years in data centers or mission-critical environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Deep understanding of high-density power requirements and cooling topologies.
• Proficiency in BIM/VDC software for clash detection.
• Familiarity with LEED, Uptime Institute standards, NEC/NFPA codes.

Responsibilities

• Direct installation of critical MEP systems (MV distribution, UPS, generators, cooling).
• Manage MEP subcontractors, ensure schedules and quality meet Tier III/IV standards.
• Lead BIM/VDC coordination meetings, review submittals and shop drawings for long-lead equipment.
• Coordinate with Owner’s Rep, design engineers, and utilities to ensure power/water interconnections.
• Oversee MEP budget, bid leveling, change orders, and requisitions.
• Support commissioning teams through IST and turnover processes.
