Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager – MEP to support large-scale healthcare construction projects in North Carolina. You will oversee HVAC, plumbing, and medical gas systems on high-value hospital projects, guiding preconstruction through turnover.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of PM experience with a mechanical subcontractor and a track record managing $10M+ healthcare or mission-critical projects, strong leadership, and coordination with clients, GC

Competenze

• 4+ years of project management experience with a mechanical subcontractor.
• Experience managing $10M+ healthcare or hospital construction projects.
• Hands-on experience with MEP systems (HVAC, plumbing, medical gas).
• Strong financial management and job costing experience.
• Experience managing subcontractors and large project teams.
• Knowledge of healthcare construction safety standards and infection control practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Mansioni

• Lead HVAC, plumbing, and medical gas installations from preconstruction through completion.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery in compliance with contract documents.
• Manage project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Develop and manage budgets, job costing, and financial reporting.
• Review estimates and align with project scope and financial targets.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers for quality and compliance.
• Build relationships with clients, general contractors, and internal teams.
• Oversee submittals and ensure specifications compliance.
• Lead safety meetings and site walks, promoting safety culture.
• Provide direction and supervision to field staff.
