Job summary

F.A. Wilhelm Construction is seeking an experienced MEP Manager to lead the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing portions of complex projects.

You will work closely with the Project Manager and Superintendent to ensure quality, schedule adherence, and successful commissioning across hospitals, universities, data centers, and corporate facilities. The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in construction, a related degree (or equivalent), OSHA 30 preferred, and strong coordination with trades.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years relevant work experience in the construction industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Science, or other related field is a plus, but not required.
• OSHA 30 Hour Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and technical leadership for the MEP portion of assigned projects.
• Assist preconstruction and project teams with scope, bid packages, and pre-award interviews.
• Coordinate with trades and subcontractors to plan, schedule, and execute work.
• Troubleshoot mechanical field problems and oversee quality inspections and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and successful testing of MEP systems.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Plumbing, Piping, HVAC, Fire protection, Medical gases, and Electrical systems.
