Job summary

Gilbane Building Company in Houston is seeking a Senior MEP Professional to originate and lead all MEP processes on a project, ensuring coordination across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. You will mentor team members, collaborate with design and field teams, and drive safety, quality, and on-time performance while delivering value to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of MEP experience.
• OSHA 30 hour certified.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Originates MEP Scopes of Work and participates in scope review meetings
• Originates MEP installation and commissioning activities within the Project Schedule
• Trains others on MEP systems
• Determines the MEP subcontracting strategies for a project
• Develops MEP bid package schedule with input from the design team and owner
• Tracks progress of the MEP coordination process and ensures the deliverable meets contract requirements
• Coaches and mentors less experienced team members
• Supports a positive and inclusive work environment
• Collaborates with business development to integrate with sales strategies and strengthen client relationships
