Job summary

Holder Construction seeks an MEP Senior Field Coordinator to join our Building Technology team on projects in Richmond, VA, Culpeper, VA, Ashburn, VA, Herndon, VA and Manassas, VA. This full-time, in-person role leads coordination across mechanical, electrical, plumbing and special systems, guiding trade partners and vendors to deliver quality installations.

You will develop and track schedules, monitor QA/QC programs, support Energy Control and Safety, manage punch lists, and work with design

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial construction experience with large, sophisticated MEP systems.
• Proven ability to manage workforce requirements, monitor project progress, and resolve field engineering challenges.
• Strong communication and leadership skills for managing client and trade partner relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and special systems coordination and installation for complex projects.
• Provide leadership and oversight to MEP trade partners and equipment vendors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Assist in developing and tracking schedules, monitoring QA/QC programs, and supporting the Energy Control and Safety Program.
• Manage punch lists, troubleshoot field engineering issues, and oversee start-up and commissioning activities.
• Collaborate with project teams from pre-construction through commissioning and close-out to ensure successful delivery.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and design partners while supervising trade partners and vendors.
