Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and minimum of 3 years related Mechanical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection estimating experience.
• Ability to interpret contract documents, drawings, specs, and schedules for cost analysis.
• Experience coordinating with vendors, trade partners and design teams to source pricing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for Mechanical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection trades from design to construction documents.
• Perform quantity take-offs, analyses, estimates, and studies for MEP scopes.
• Analyze plans and specs to determine scope and constructability issues.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain current pricing and bid data.
• Prepare proposals for lump sum, GMP, and Cost Plus contracts and participate in bid reviews.
