Job summary

m2e Consulting Engineers seeks an Executive Engineering Director to provide strategic leadership of the MEP department, guiding complex projects and ensuring technical integrity and profitability. You will drive growth, oversee staffing, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration across CR&D, QAS, and FINES.

Ideal candidate has 10+ years in MEP design/construction, a Florida P.E. license, and proven ability to seal drawings and mentor teams while delivering high-quality engineering services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Active Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or eligible with reciprocal ability within six months.
• Valid State of Florida Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Experience leading complex, multidisciplinary engineering projects; sealing drawings and reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and grow the MEP department (8–12 staff) including hiring and mentoring.
• Provide executive-level oversight on complex projects across CR&D, QAS, and FINES.
• Own and manage the MEP department P&L and monitor utilization, backlog, and margin.
• Develop standards, QA/QC programs, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering

Master’s degree preferred
