Job summary

Atlas Energy Solutions Inc. is seeking a Staff MEP Engineer to act as the senior mechanical, electrical, and plumbing authority for our power generation and microgrid portfolio.

You will own mechanical system architecture, engineering governance, and high‑level technical decisions across multiple projects. The role requires leadership of a multi-project team, SME expertise in engine-based power generation, and collaboration with EPCs, OEMs, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program.
• Licensed Professional Engineer.
• 12+ years of progressive mechanical engineering experience in power generation or heavy industrial facilities.
• Experience with fuel gas systems, cooling water circuits, lube oil, exhaust, and emissions interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the mechanical/engineering/plumbing team across concurrent projects.
• Serve as SME for mechanical balance of plant on reciprocating engine power generation.
• Define and approve mechanical system architectures and plot plans for modular power plants.
• Author and maintain mechanical standards and design guidelines.
