Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced engineer to manage and coordinate mechanical and electrical systems for an advanced technology project in Northern Louisiana. The role requires traveling to project sites and supervising MEP teams, subcontractors, and consultants.

Responsibilities include schedule coordination, RFI processing, change orders, and ensuring compliance with contract documents and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and a minimum of four years of relevant engineering experience.
• Technical expertise and understanding of all mechanical and electrical systems that support various project types.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to lead teams.
• Demonstrated leadership to develop a high performing team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate MEP engineering activities with project team, subcontractors, and owners representatives.
• Maintain budget and schedule related to mechanical and electrical systems per contract documents.
• Manage RFI processing and change orders with awareness of subcontractor finances.
• Co-lead MEP coordination with the VDC Engineer to ensure proper installation and quality standards.
• Oversee turnover, start-up, testing, commissioning and closeout activities.
