Job summary

Danis is seeking an experienced MEP Coordinator to support complex projects across design, field execution, and commissioning. You’ll help coordinate multidisciplinary systems and lead practical problem solving on signature healthcare, data center, and high-tech builds.

This role blends preconstruction planning with field oversight, requires 10–15 years of MEP experience, and a strong background in HVAC, plumbing, and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management.
• 10–15 years of MEP experience in commercial or industrial construction.
• Hands-on field experience with HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, and related systems.
• Experience coordinating across multiple trades and leading design coordination.
• Knowledge of healthcare, data centers, or high-tech facilities.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning and preconstruction, participating in pre-award interviews and assisting in early design coordination.
• Review MEP drawings and specifications, identify clashes, and ensure compliance with design standards and constructability.
• Lead or support multi-trade coordination, ensuring all systems work together seamlessly and on schedule.
• Create and update project schedules, helping teams stay on track with key MEP milestones.
• Manage field installation activities, coordinating with subcontractors to align with site operations and overall project goals.
• Troubleshoot MEP issues in the field, working hands-on to find practical, efficient solutions.
• Support commissioning processes, ensuring systems are scheduled properly, tested, verified, documented, and fully functional at turnover.
• Conduct quality control inspections, manage punch lists, and follow up on resolution.
• Build strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, owners, engineers, and internal teams.
• Stay active in the industry, representing Danis in trade associations and sharing insights from the field.
