Job summary

Danis Construction is seeking an MEP Coordinator to support complex projects through the full lifecycle—from preconstruction through commissioning. You will coordinate multi-trade MEP systems, review drawings, and lead field activities to ensure on-time delivery and quality.

This role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, design coordination, and effective communication with subcontractors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning and preconstruction, participating in pre-award interviews and assisting in early design coordination.
• Review MEP drawings and specifications, identify clashes, and ensure compliance with design standards and constructability.
• Lead or support multi-trade coordination, ensuring all systems work together seamlessly and on schedule.
• Create and update project schedules, helping teams stay on track with key MEP milestones.
• Manage field installation activities, coordinating with subcontractors to align with site operations and overall project goals.
• Troubleshoot MEP issues in the field, working hands-on to find practical, efficient solutions.
• Support commissioning processes, ensuring systems are scheduled properly, tested, verified, documented, and fully functional at turnover.
• Conduct quality control inspections, manage punch lists, and follow up on resolution.
• Build strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, owners, engineers, and internal teams.
• Stay active in the industry, representing Danis in trade associations and sharing insights from the field.
