Job summary

Clune Construction Company, L.P. is seeking a Senior MEP Coordinator in Atlanta to support project teams in Mission Critical, Health Care, and TI environments. The role involves coordinating the MEP model, reviewing submittals, and assisting in preconstruction information management.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Science, at least six years of experience with large commercial projects, and a strong understanding of MEP systems and BIM modeling.

Qualifications

• Minimum six years of experience with large commercial construction projects.
• Experience collaborating with a construction project manager or superintendent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the MEP model and review MEP submittals prior to submission.
• Track MEP construction progress and organize startup and commissioning documentation.
• Assist the Project Management Team with preconstruction MEP information management.

Clune Construction is hiring a Senior MEP Coordinator to support project teams in Mission Critical, Health Care, and TI environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the MEP model and review MEP submittals prior to submission.
• Provide potential solutions for MEP related RFIs.
• Track MEP construction progress and organize startup and commissioning documentation.
• Work with subcontractors and vendors to close punch list items.
• Assist the Project Management Team with preconstruction MEP information management.
• Schedule and support the 3D Model coordinator for assigned projects.
• Track MEP related MOPs and cutover activities for assigned projects.
• Coordinate commissioning documentation with subcontractors, vendors, and the commissioning agent.
• Process vendor startup and commissioning.
• Organize MEP client training and train the MEP team on concepts and installation details.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• No direct supervisory responsibilities, but responsible for mentoring staff and providing training and feedback.

Job Requirements

• Advanced experience and knowledge of MEP system installation, BIM modeling, and construction management.
• Experience with PLCs, control systems, process instrumentation, or building management systems.
• Ability to use independent judgment, self‑starting, and prioritize based on relevant factors.
• Ability to read and understand plans, specifications, drafting, and computer skills desired.
• Ability to coordinate solutions to installation problems with design engineers and subcontractors.
• Personal integrity and ability to create and lead a culture of collaboration.
• Desire and ability to collaborate with design engineers and other technical personnel to solve MEP problems identified during design review, construction, installation, startup, and commissioning.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Science, or equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum six years of experience with large commercial construction projects (preferred).
• Experience collaborating with a construction project manager or superintendent (preferred).
