Job summary

Turner Construction Company’s Omaha office seeks an experienced MEP Superintendent to oversee and direct preconstruction, engineering and field installation of all Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing systems on major projects. Reporting to the Project Manager and Project Executive, you will coordinate with engineers, designers, subcontractors and owners to ensure safety, quality and schedule.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of progressive design and field installation

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of progressive exposure to design and field installations of MEP systems.
LEED accreditation preferred.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Knowledge of project management and scheduling software desirable.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with engineers, design consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and owner's representatives.
Comprehensive knowledge of contract documents, plans, specifications and applicable codes.
Lead, supervise and develop Turner MEP staff.
Oversee daily activities of Engineer-MEP, Superintendent-MEP, and subordinates.
Manage MEP procurement, project budgets, quality, safety, coordination, scheduling, installation, commissioning and close-out.
