Job summary

Gabriella & Co. in Nashville seeks a Senior MEP Engineer to lead complex mechanical and electrical scopes on large commercial projects. You will oversee preconstruction through turnover, manage budgets and teams, and represent the firm with clients and design partners.

This senior role focuses on field leadership, value engineering, and profitable delivery across multiple sites, with relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Architectural Engineering is required.
• 10+ years of construction management experience on commercial projects.
• Strong estimating, budgeting, GMP and subcontract negotiation experience.
• Demonstrated leadership of field teams and commissioning activities.
• Experience managing project profitability and client relationships.
• Working knowledge of BIM, scheduling tools and MEP construction technology.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex M/E construction activities including field coordination and commissioning.
• Manage project budgets, GMPs, hard bids, and estimates.
• Evaluate M/E systems and provide value-engineering recommendations.
• Develop MEP bid scopes, analyze bids, negotiate with subs and procure equipment.
• Define sequencing strategy and provide scheduling direction.
• Oversee inspections, shop drawings, submittals, and turnover documentation.
• Staff projects, manage budgets, and drive profitability; mentor junior staff.
• Present to clients, participate in pursuits and support business development; apply Lean practices.
