Job summary

MK Consulting Group is seeking an experienced MEP HVAC Commercial Project Manager in the Nashville area to lead end-to-end planning, budgeting, coordination, and execution of complex building system projects from preconstruction through commissioning.

The role requires managing multidisciplinary scopes, coordinating with architects and specialists, and ensuring compliance with industry standards while delivering on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and piping layouts.
• Experience with BIM coordination and plan reading.

Responsibilities

• Direct full lifecycle project delivery for HVAC/MEP installations.
• Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, and cash flow forecasts.
• Oversee project budgets, contracts, and change orders.
• Lead value engineering to reduce costs while meeting energy efficiency requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and general contractors to review designs and resolve spatial conflicts (BIM/Revit).
• Conduct site inspections to monitor installation quality, progress, and safety guidelines.
• Ensure installations comply with local codes and ASHRAE standards; supervise commissioning.
