Qualifications

  • Knowledge of case management, behavioral health services, community resources, and grant-funded programs.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems.
  • Ability to work independently while leading a collaborative team.
  • Valid Illinois drivers license, reliable transportation, current insurance, and acceptable driving record.
  • Must successfully complete background checks, fingerprinting, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily operations of the Senior Mental Health Program.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, evaluate, and coach staff; conduct performance evaluations and administer corrective action when necessary.
  • Manage employee schedules, timecards, PTO requests, onboarding, and required certifications.
  • Conduct outreach, education, depression screenings, and case management services for older adults, including community and in-home visits.
  • Connect individuals with appropriate mental health providers and community resources.
  • Monitor program outcomes, maintain grant compliance, prepare reports, and participate in program development and grant writing.
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, SOPs, and staff training materials.
  • Ensure compliance with agency policies, grant requirements, and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with community organizations and mental health providers; represent Lifescape in community meetings and collaborative initiatives.
  • Supervise volunteers, interns, and support groups.
  • Participate in audits, quality improvement initiatives, and strategic planning.
  • Promote Lifescape's mission through professional conduct, teamwork, and excellent customer service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Senior Mental Health Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the Senior Mental Health Program under the direction of the Program Services Director. This leadership role is responsible for program administration, staff supervision, regulatory compliance, grant management, quality assurance, community partnerships, and ensuring high-quality mental health services for older adults. The position also supports program development, staff training, and continuous quality improvement while maintaining compliance with agency, state, and federal requirements.
