Energy Solutions is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to lead architecture, design, and development of complex software systems on the Mendix platform. You will steer technical decisions, mentor engineers, and collaborate across product, QA, project management, DevOps, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure solutions.

The role emphasizes architectural leadership, hands-on full-stack development, and driving engineering standards across multiple teams within a predominantly remote workforce

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 10 years of experience developing, supporting, and enhancing complex software systems and applications.
• Advanced proficiency in full-stack development and languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, SQL, HTML/CSS.
• Advanced knowledge of software architecture, system design, data structures, APIs, and modernization techniques.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, CI/CD, monitoring, and production support.
• Experience contributing to architectural decisions across applications and platforms.
• Experience evaluating trade-offs balancing requirements, timelines, scalability, and maintainability.
• Experience mentoring engineers and collaborating with Product, QA, PM, DevOps, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of complex software systems across projects and teams on the Mendix platform.
• Design scalable, secure, modular software solutions aligned with business needs.
• Develop full-stack solutions and architectural standards adopted across applications.
