ExTrac is seeking a Senior Analyst for the MENA region to deliver timely, evidence-based intelligence. You will monitor regional developments, assess Arabic and English sources, and produce high-quality reports.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of professional intelligence analysis or related field.
• Strong knowledge of the MENA region and its dynamics.
• Fluency in written Arabic (MSA and dialects) with translation ability.
• Experience applying structured analytic methodologies.
• Excellent written communication under tight deadlines.
• Hands-on experience curating and verifying online sources.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
• Attention to detail and ability to explain complex topics clearly.
• Comfort using AI in analytical workflows.
• Understanding of data handling and ethical considerations.

Responsibilities

• Intelligence collection and analysis across MENA, monitoring developments and actors.
• Produce daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports and briefings.
• Translate and assess Arabic-language source material.
• Lead and mentor analysts, and support cross-team projects.
• Develop methodologies and progress monitoring frameworks; integrate AI where beneficial.
