Job summary

The Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, Inc. in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Principal Systems Test Engineer to lead a 10–15 person test team, directing test development and execution for MEMS IMU system verification and validation, including ESS, ATP, and system qualification.

You will own test plans, coordinate equipment and personnel with facilities, and oversee onboarding of operators while communicating progress to management and leadership.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field.
• Requires 7–10 years in Systems Engineering or relevant role.
• Requires ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (Secret).

Responsibilities

• Lead a large integration and test task of 10–15 engineers; manage all test development and execution for MEMS IMU system testing.
• Run morning meetings and direct daily test activities.
• Provide daily status reports to program management and executives.
