Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. is seeking a Senior MEMS Design and Simulation Engineer in the Advanced MEMS Development group to design, simulate, and characterize MEMS packages and devices toward productization.

You will validate stresses, unify simulation flows, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to advance inertial MEMS technology. Required PhD or a Master’s with 3+ years MEMS experience, with strong Python/MATLAB/LabVIEW, Ansys/Comsol, and SPICE modeling skills.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s with MEMS experience and strong communication skills.
• Hands-on MEMS package simulations under varying environments.
• Experience with material properties affecting MEMS performance across temperature/humidity.
• MEMS characterization and probe/test algorithm development.
• Ability to develop SPICE models and analytical coupling models.

Responsibilities

• Simulate and validate MEMS package stresses across environments.
• Develop standardized MEMS-package simulation flow across portfolio.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to validate materials properties.
• Innovate and productize MEMS gyroscopes, accelerometers, IMUs.
• Characterize MEMS devices using wafer probes and test equipment.
• Model device performance across process, package, and assembly variations.
• Coordinate MEMS designs from concept to production with cross‑functional teams.
