Job summary

Enertia Microsystems, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Lab Engineer to join our fast-moving MEMS and inertial sensing team. You will work with hardware, learn new technologies, and contribute to development and testing of next-generation inertial sensors.

Responsibilities include operating lab equipment, setting up experiments, documenting results, and helping troubleshoot with the engineering team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Applied Science, Physics, or a related technical field.
  • Understanding of electronics and electrical measurements.
  • Good hands-on laboratory work and hardware testing. Ability to operate or learn to operate common laboratory instruments such as oscilloscopes, function generators, power supplies, multimeters, and data acquisition equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in documenting experimental results.

Responsibilities

  • Operate laboratory test and standard and custom equipment (DC power supplies, oscilloscopes, lock-in amplifier, etc) for characterization of MEMS inertial sensors and associated electronics.
  • Set up and run experiments using board-level electronics.
  • Collect, document, organize, and maintain experimental and testing results.
  • Identify test setup or equipment issues and work with the engineering team to troubleshoot them.
