Job summary

Apple Inc. in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a Signal Integrity Engineer focused on memory interfaces for Apple SoCs. You will model, simulate, and optimize SI/PI from package to board, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet tight timing and voltage specs.

Ideal candidates have a BS with 10+ years in SI/PI, experience with DDR/LPDDR, hands-on lab skills (VNA, TDR, scopes) and strong Python coding ability for automation and analysis.

Qualifications

• BS + 10 years of industry experience.
• Experience with memory interfaces, SI/PI modeling.
• Ability to develop test plans and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong fundamentals in SI/PI methods and lab validation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct end-to-end signal integrity and power integrity studies for memory systems across die/interposer/PKG/PCB/PMU.
• Provide feedback and guidelines to silicon floorplan, package, and system design teams.
• Set optimal IO settings and design guidelines for cross-functional groups.
• Perform feasibility studies for next-gen signaling schemes.
• Correlate simulation results with silicon measurements.
