Job summary

Atria Senior Living in Grapevine, TX, seeks a Life Guidance Director to lead the dementia care program within the community. You will supervise LG staff, schedule daily programs, manage budgets, and partner with clinical and support teams to deliver resident-centered services.

Responsibilities include staff development, onboarding, training, and collaborating with families while driving engagement and ensuring compliance with company policy and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of experience caring for people with dementia and developing activity programs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good computer skills, including virtual meetings (Microsoft Teams).
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and driving responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead Life Guidance staff, schedule assignments, and provide coaching.
• Execute daily Life Guidance programs and calendar activities.
• Manage LG budget and use virtual checkbook; monitor expenditures.
• Recruit, hire, and evaluate non-clinical staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Deliver trainings and ensure onboarding within required time frames.
• Collaborate with Resident Services Director and Culinary Services for operations.
