Job summary

Versant Media is seeking a Membership Manager for CNBC Councils in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. This full-time, hybrid role focuses on new-business sales across multiple C-suite councils, with a strong emphasis on prospecting, pipeline development, and converting qualified executives into members.

You’ll report to the Membership Director, managing opportunities end-to-end, collaborating with marketing, events, and editorial teams, and maintaining accurate Salesforce records.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of successful B2B sales or business development.
• Experience selling memberships, professional services, media, events, or other high-value offerings.
• Strong written and verbal communication with senior decision-makers.
• Creative, resourceful prospecting and opportunity development.
• Solid organizational and analytical skills; CRM usage to manage pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Own the full new-member sales cycle from prospecting through onboarding.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified C-suite executives.
• Develop targeted prospecting strategies and compelling sales messaging.
• Source, vet, and recruit members who meet each Council’s criteria.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support recruitment and onboarding.
• Maintain Salesforce records and share insights to improve Council positioning.
