Job summary

This onsite role requires 7+ years of mechanical manufacturing experience, CNC capabilities (Swiss, 5-axis, VMC), CAD/CAM tools, and strong problem-solving skills to optimize tooling, layouts, and training for manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and understand part prints.
• Ability to design processes, operate, and set up CNC Machines (Swiss, Vertical Milling, 5-axis).
• Ability to generate drawings with CAD software; Solidworks is a plus.
• Ability to use CAD/CAM software; Gibbs Cam or Esprit a plus
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Production, assist with DFM, and launch new products.
• Identify, implement, and document process improvements including cycle time, tool life, process capability, and automation.
• Collaborate with customers to identify and suggest modifications to customer specifications to improve cost, quality, and lead time.
• Train manufacturing functions on the specifics of new parts, including setup, operation, and quality control procedures.
