Vantedge Medical in Wheeling, IL is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to provide technical support to Production, launch new products, and drive process improvements in an ISO13485 environment focused on Swiss CNC, 5-axis milling, assembly, and cleaning.
The role requires 7+ years of mechanical manufacturing experience, ability to read part prints, and proficiency with CAD/CAM tools. A BS in engineering is preferred, with machining-experience-based substitution acceptable.

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to Production, assisting customers with DFM, launching new products into production, and identifying/implementing process improvements within the Wheeling, IL facility. Markets served are primarily medical device (with a focus on robotic surgery), therefore experience within an ISO13485 facility is desirable. Manufacturing processes include Swiss CNC, high-speed 5-axis, vertical milling, assembly, packaging, passivation, and cleaning.
