Job summary

Hobson & Motzer, now part of Vantedge Medical, seeks a Senior Project & Manufacturing Engineer to develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes for medical components in Durham, CT. You will resolve manufacturing issues, drive cost-quality-productivity improvements, and mentor other engineers.

Responsibilities include documenting customer requirements, managing projects, validating processes, and coordinating with Quality and internal/external teams to ensure successful product

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree with 10+ years of related experience.
• Experience with gauging, methods/design, and geometric tolerancing.
• Experience with use and calibration of measuring equipment.
• Knowledge of documentation design and control.
• Strong leadership and judgment skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Identify, document, and communicate customer requirements.
• Lead projects to meet scope and product requirements with timely reporting.
• Develop and implement efficient, economical manufacturing processes.
• Research and deploy new technologies to support the business plan.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and coach other engineers.
