Job summary

Arvinas is a biotechnology company based in New Haven, CT, pioneering PROTAC protein degrader therapies. The Medicinal Chemistry Project Leader will guide chemistry efforts across PROTAC programs, focusing on degrader–antibody conjugates and advanced design to advance programs toward clinical candidacy.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of leading research projects through milestone decisions toward clinical candidate nomination.
• Extensive experience in the synthetic and medicinal chemistry of antibody–drug conjugates; degrader–antibody conjugates preferred.
• Deep understanding of pharmacokinetic principles and in vivo pharmacology.

Responsibilities

• Drive milestone decisions on PROTAC projects from inception to clinical candidate nomination.
• Lead expeditious molecular design of PROTACs and degrader–antibody conjugates with SAR analysis.
• Coordinate with external CROs to meet timing and data requirements.
• Communicate project needs and strategy to multidisciplinary teams and senior leaders.
• Provide data-driven strategic recommendations to leadership within R&D.
• Represent the company at conferences and in external scientific matters as needed.
