AdventHealth in Palm Coast, Florida is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to lead and support pharmacy operations across shifts. You will assist with compliance, medication use processes, and clinical collaboration to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Responsibilities include mentoring technicians, contributing to quality improvement, and handling both dispensing and sterile preparation tasks under supervision.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician certification required or equivalent.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in hospital or retail pharmacy setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and drug classes.
• Ability to work under supervision of a pharmacist and mentor technicians.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support compliance audits and documentation across shifts.
• Prepare reports and assist with regulatory readiness and inspections.
• Mentor technicians and support onboarding, competency validation, and peer development.
• Independently prepares and dispenses patient-specific doses and sterile preparations as required.
