Job summary

AdventHealth in Winter Park, FL is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to provide patient-centered medication services across hospital workflows. You will dispense medications, support sterile compounding, and collaborate with nurses and physicians to ensure safety and accuracy.

This role requires a minimum 1 year hospital pharmacy experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and current Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) or Licensed Pharmacy Technician status. Florida background checks apply.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv required.
• 1+ year of contemporary hospital pharmacy experience required.
• Completion of a pharmacy technician training program preferred.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) or Licensed Pharmacy Technician required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately.
• Compound sterile and hazardous preparations per USP guidelines.
• Manage medication inventory and stock levels.
• Support compliance audits and quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with nurses and physicians to ensure safe patient care.
• Mentor technicians and contribute to staff onboarding.
